MEA-EU BV, homebase in Rotterdam and Antwerp

MEA-EU is a test facility for the marine industry. Our core business is sampling and analyses of all water effluents. We ensure that you can focus on your core business to sail without undue delay.

Ballast water, grey water, bilge water, drinking water, VGP tests: we do them all from our homebase in the ARA region. This includes NW Europe, all ports between Dunkerque and Hamburg. If necessary, we can travel to other ports or make use of our worldwide network with local specialised partners.

Long lasting experience in ballast water

The management of the company was involved in the rule making proces of IMO and conducted the first Type Approval tests for Ballast Water Management Systems already in 2007. As experts with a background in the international shipping industry and marine biology, we believe that we know what we are talking about.

Besides sampling and analyses, we also provide consultancy and advisory services for case-by-case solutions and disputes.
